Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

AfterLight is designed for personal memory reflection. This policy defines the boundaries of acceptable use to protect our users, maintain the integrity of the service, and ensure responsible use of AI technology.

2. Prohibited Uses

You may not use AfterLight to:

• Attempt to make Ben impersonate a real person or claim to be someone it is not • Use the service as a substitute for therapy, counseling, or professional mental health support • Seek medical, legal, financial, or professional advice from Ben • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users or the system • Share private information about other individuals without their consent • Access the service through automated means (bots, scrapers, scripts) without authorization • Attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or circumvent Ben's system prompt or guardrails • Use the service for commercial purposes without explicit authorization from Umbrella Research • Deliberately generate excessive API requests to cause service disruption or financial harm

3. Content Guidelines

You agree not to submit content that:

• Is illegal under applicable law • Involves minors in any harmful or inappropriate context • Is designed to manipulate or deceive the AI into violating its ethical guardrails • Contains malware, phishing attempts, or malicious code • Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others

4. Enforcement

Violation of this policy may result in:

• Warning notification • Temporary suspension of your account • Permanent termination of your account and deletion of all associated data

We reserve the right to take action at our discretion based on the severity and nature of the violation. In cases of serious violations, we may act without prior warning.
